Wisconsin Lighting Lab, Inc. is a growing manufacturing and distribution company specializing in lighting and technology infrastructure solutions. We are dedicated to innovation and sustainable growth and currently seeking a Finance Manager with manufacturing and distribution experience to join our Management & Administration team and lead our financial planning and analysis efforts.

As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our financial strategy and decision-making process, leveraging your expertise in manufacturing and distribution finance. You will lead the financial planning and analysis efforts, working closely with senior management to provide valuable insights, forecast financial trends, and support our company's continued growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Lead the development of annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and financial forecasts. Collaborate with department heads and team leads to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
    • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, emphasizing insights into manufacturing, sales, and marketing financial performance. Present findings to senior management.
    • Performance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and identify key drivers of financial performance in the context of manufacturing and distribution. Partner with department heads to address challenges and optimize financial outcomes.
    • Cost Management: Monitor and analyze the company's manufacturing and distribution cost structure, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Collaborate closely with operations and supply chain teams to optimize cost controls.
    • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow projections and working capital requirements, with a specific focus on manufacturing and distribution cash flows. Ensure adequate liquidity to support our operations and strategic initiatives.
    • Capital Investment Analysis: Evaluate and provide financial analysis for capital investment decisions in the manufacturing and distribution area, including ROI calculations, payback periods, and risk assessments.
    • Strategic Financial Support: Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives, providing financial insights and recommendations tailored to manufacturing and distribution objectives, contributing to the company's growth and profitability.
    • Financial Modeling: Develop financial models that assess various scenarios related to manufacturing and distribution, including market changes, pricing strategies, and expansion plans.
    • Risk Management: Identify financial risks specific to manufacturing and distribution and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements in these areas.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and teams to align financial planning with overall business goals, with a strong focus on collaboration with manufacturing, distribution, sales, operations, and supply chain teams to drive manufacturing and distribution financial performance.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a significant focus on manufacturing and distribution.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
      • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, R, and business intelligence platforms.
      • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., ERP systems).
      • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
